Thank you for watching my Cookbang channel *Tip of success in making perfect Samgyetang 1/ Try to use a small chicken ( I used a chicken that weighs 900g) 2/ You must use glutinous rice, do not replace it with medium or long white rice 3/ Make sure you soak glutinous rice in water for a minimum of 3-4 hours (or even overnight) prior stuffing the chicken. 4/ Only stuff ⅔ of the size of the cavity.with glutinous rice 5/ If you are living overseas, buy a Samgyetang herbal mix package from Korean grocery store. It brings the nutrient and taste to another level #삼계탕 #KoreanGinsengChickenSoup #SamGyeTang #쉽고간단한보양식 #supereasy #healthyfood *Ingredients 1 Small whole chicken (I used 900g small whole chicken) Glutinous rice ( I used 4-5 TBS) 15 Garlics cloves ( you can use less) 1 Medium-Large onion 3-4 Jujube, (red dried dates) 2 Spring onions (Optional) 1 Samgyetang oriental herb mix packet 1 tsp Peppercorns ½ -1 TBS Salt (You can always adjust the taste with salt and pepper to your liking later) TBS = Tablespoon tsp = TeaSpoon
